Our mission is simple: we want to break down the barriers patients can experience when facing medical exams. Everyone deserves to feel at ease and maintain their dignity during these times. That’s why we’re dedicated to delivering gowns that offer practitioners the function they need without compromising on the respect of their patients.

Our Story

Hospital gowns have remained largely unchanged for decades, despite the growing need to prioritise patient dignity. Olive and El spoke with Dermatologist Dr. David Lim, who shared how traditional gowns often fall short of his patients needs. Noting the lack of dignity patients can feel when having a full-body skin check, he wanted all his patients to feel less naked and more comfortable when they came to see him for these life-changing appointments. He wanted to make “nude” feel less “rude.”

Over 1 massive year, El and Olive designed the ‘VerCo Gown’; a medical gown that makes clinical appointments less intimidating and bedding that fits and moves with 3-part beds.

Since then, El and Olive have developed the gown further to be functional across many medical settings. They decided to create their own business to keep driving their passion for providing patients with clinical comfort through innovation: VerCo Wear!
